The proposed capital projects, listed on this page in priority order, are estimated to cost $87,000. Our goal is to raise as much of the proposed project costs as possible. This special 3-year commitment will be over and above our regular stewardship offerings to the congregation.
Our current boilers are very old and inefficient. A new system would be more efficient, reducing costs and improving the comfort of the sanctuary.
A large portion of the roof is in need of replacement. This is an investment that will last a minimum of 20 years and will reduce patching costs in the short term.
We would like to add video projection capabilities to the sanctuary. This will give us the option of using images and some video during the service. In an increasingly visual age, it is important that we have the capability to meet the needs of all people.
FUNDING OF OUR CAPITAL PROJECTS
In early 2019, after the capital campaign commitments are received, parishioners will be updated regarding the scope of the projects and the timeline we would pursue. Only those projects covered by the amount of monies pledged will be undertaken, in the priority listed above. Simply put, no additional debt will be incurred for any of the projects.
