The mission and vision of the First Presbyterian Church is to be a spiritual beacon, sharing the Word of God, and ministering to all while growing in faith.
Our Mission Partners
There are several non-profit organizations in Urbana that focus on meeting the needs of and improving the quality of life in the community. The organizations we work most closely with are: the Caring Kitchen, Habitat For Humanity, Hope4Good, the Sycamore House Pregnancy & Family Life Center, Cub Scouting, Scouts BSA, and the Urbana Youth Center. We also provide hygiene kits for the elementary school, and support programs such as Adopt-a-Family, School Supplies for Kids campaign, Champaign County Community Christmas, and the Giving Tree. Our doors are open to community groups such as Alcoholics Anonymous and the Red Cross.
