The Bed Kit Project
This project assists struggling families in Urbana by providing portable bedding for children in need. Over 60 kits have been distributed through the school system throughout the past few years. Email firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in contributing.

Red Cross Blood Drives

Christmas Joy Offering
The Christmas Joy Offering helps provide assistance to current and retired church workers in their time of need and helps develop leaders at Presbyterian-related schools and colleges equipping communities of color.
Sycamore House helps prospective and new parents with free services including pregnancy tests, educational classes, post-abortion support, infant supplies, and pregnancy counseling. Learn more about Sycamore House by clicking here.
AA is an international fellowship of men and women who have had a drinking problem. It is nonprofessional, self-supporting, multiracial, apolitical, and available almost everywhere. There are no age or education requirements. Membership is open to anyone who wants to do something about his or her drinking problem. Find out more by clicking here.

Second Harvest Food Bank (Empty Bowls)
Empty Bowls of Champaign County is an annual event to raise awareness about the growing problem of hunger in Champaign County. The event is a fundraiser for Second Harvest Food Bank of Champaign, Clark and Logan Counties, which supports 10 Champaign County member agencies—all local food pantries, soup kitchens and shelters. Messiah Community in Urbana is part of Graceworks Lutheran Services, which has devoted nearly a century to faithfully caring for the needs of all people.
